About Jennifer

Hi, I’m Jennifer, the owner of Stellar Pet Care. I spent 7 rewarding years running my dog walking and pet sitting business in downtown Vancouver, caring for dogs and cats and getting to know their families. After moving to Bedford, Nova Scotia, to be closer to family, I’m excited to bring that same care and experience to local pets.

Dogs get excited just hearing the question, “Do you want to go for a walk?” I love seeing them explore new smells, sights, and sounds, and meet other furry friends. These outings are some of the highlights of their day – and mine too.

As part of a pet-loving family with my 4-year-old Maltese mix, I understand the special bond between pets and their people.

I work in a force-free, fear-free way, guided by kindness, patience, and trust. I pay close attention to each pet’s comfort so their experience is as calm and comfortable as possible.

I specialize in small dog care, offering dog walking, dog sitting, and cat visits in Bedford.

I completed a Professional Dog Walker certification at Langara College (2016) and Pet First Aid training with Walks ’N’ Wags. I’ve also completed Fear Free training to support low-stress, gentle care.

I’m committed to providing reliable, caring service, and I would be honoured to look after your pets and help make things smooth and comfortable while you’re away.
